Calypso Cottage is a delightful place to stay in Antigua. The location is fantastic - a short walk to Dickenson Bay (a great beach with facilities and excursions etc), a reasonable distance from town, a short drive to an excellent grocery store (seriously well-stocked even for us vegetarians). The home is exactly as it looks - spacious, pretty and comfortable. We were there when Covid restrictions saw restaurant and bar closures and we found the kitchen at the cottage easy to cook in. The bedrooms are super comfy and easy to keep at a pleasant temperature with the AC units installed there. The verandah saw the most use of course with its gorgeous views and relaxing furniture. We spent every evening there eating dinner and playing cards. Good times :) The pool area is lovely too, also with stunning views. As a host, Helen is one of the very best. She is communicative, helpful and kind - the sort of person you'd like to meet up with personally to say thank you. We are so grateful for our time in Antigua in Helen's home. We would recommend it without reservation. Thank you so much xx
